FAQ’s

Do I have a guarantee?

50% of your deposit is refunded up to three weeks before your trip. After this date will vary greatly on the tour selected, please get in touch as soon as possible if this is the case.

Do I need to be a photographer?

Not at all! in fact, the majority of tours aren’t based on the photography at all.

What should I bring?

You’re likely aware that the weather in Scotland can change rapidly through the day, so it’s always best to have a spare change of clothes for each day, as well as waterproofs. Good walking/hiking boots (for those looking to hike), warm layers and a water bottle is about all the really matters.

Where will we stay?

You’ll have a private room in a highly-rated hotel or B&B close to the location of our next day’s adventures. Due to each trip being different, this does change all the time. Rooms are kept within budget and upgrades are available on request.

What will we eat?

Breakfast will be included on some overnight stays and there are plenty of lovely cafes to stop in to when it’s not, lunches can be a local favourite seafood restaurant or a packed lunch by a waterfall, it’s all part of the adventure! Time for dinners and hot meals will be available on multiple-day trips.
Dinners will be around 5-6pm

For emergencies I will likely provide a fresh pack of Scottish shortbread in the glove box, remember to have a look!

What are tour days like?

We’ll generally begin around 9am and finish up around 6pm, where you’ll have free rein to explore or rest up for the next day!

Which Airport should I fly to?

Glasgow International Airport would be my first choice and closest to our route, but Edinburgh or Prestwick are suitable too. Tour days from Glasgow start at 0930, Edinburgh at 1030.

How much luggage can i bring?

I highly recommend as little as possible, if you cant fit everything in a cabin bag you may be doing it wrong! but we have plenty of space either way.

Whats included?

Transport and Accommodations are included as well as boat/ferry costs (discussed prior to final cost). A few things that are not, include entrance fees, food and drink.
