YOUR GUIDE, BRYAN MILLAR WALKERA LOCAL PERSPECTIVE
I grew up on the outskirts of Glasgow, with family walks, hills and island adventures shaping the way I see Scotland. Years later, those same places became the heart of my photography — and the journeys I share with guests.
My background is in design and the arts, but it’s Scotland’s character that keeps me behind the camera. I’m here to bring together the roads, lochs, castles, food and little discoveries that make a trip feel personal.
You don’t need to be a photographer. Just bring your curiosity.

Yes—it’s me guiding you throughout, from the roads we travel to the places we explore. But you certainly don’t have to be glued to my side. If you fancy wandering off, taking your time somewhere or having a little space to yourself, please do. It’s your journey too.
Everyone’s different, so I tend to keep food plans loose. There’ll always be options along the way, and I’ll make sure there’s a warm meal available at your accommodation in the evening.
Evenings are usually yours to enjoy at your own pace. Much as I love good food and company, this is also my working life, so eating out every night isn’t something I can do. You’ll generally dine independently, with recommendations from me whenever you need them.
Usually, no. I’ll get you settled into a lovely hotel or B&B, then head to somewhere simpler nearby for myself. It gives us both a little space to unwind and recharge. I’ll always be close by and easy to reach if you need anything.
