CASTLES & COASTAL STORIES

East Coast

A different side of Scotland.

Plan this journey ↗︎

YOUR SCOTLAND, YOUR WAY

A different side of Scotland.

Castles, woodland and a coastline full of stories. The east rewards a slower look, with fishing villages, broad horizons and places worth lingering in.

We can combine coastal exploring with forests, historic places and photography. Whether you want gentle wandering or a fuller day outside, I’ll help shape a route that brings your interests together.

NO TWO TRIPS ARE THE SAME

What could we discover?

Flexible ideas to start a conversation.
Your final itinerary is made for you.

  • ✦ Castles and historic places with stories to discover
  • ✦ Coastal villages, harbours and North Sea views
  • ✦ Woodland walks and time behind the camera
01 / A little history

Begin with castles or historic places that fit your route, leaving time to explore the setting as well as the landmark.

02 / Follow the coast

Combine harbours, beaches and coastal views with stops for local food. We’ll choose the day’s pace around you.

03 / Into the woods

Balance the coast with woodland, rivers or more time in a favourite place. Photography can be part of the day if you’d like it to be.

These are illustrative possibilities, not a fixed day-by-day programme. Locations, timing and activities depend on your agreed itinerary, conditions and availability.
