The Highlands cover a huge amount of Scotlands land, and live in a world of their own—remote, rugged, and hauntingly beautiful. Known for its distinctive landscape of solitary mountains, beautiful rock formations, and tranquil lochs perched on, up and in between the ancient rock, billions of years old, Assynt feels like stepping into a place untouched by time.
On this tour, we’ll explore the highlights of Assynt and beyond, from the striking peaks of Suilven and Quinag to the hidden beaches and winding coastal roads that define this unique area. The region is dotted with remnants of the past, including prehistoric sites and the ruins of Ardvreck Castle, each with stories that bring the landscape to life.
Assynt offers a sense of solitude and mystery that’s rare even in the Highlands. It’s a place for those who want to experience the raw beauty of Scotland, away from any crowds, with moments that feel personal and profound. If you’re drawn to dramatic scenery and the allure of the unknown, Assynt will leave a lasting impression, one that I still hold to this day.

Meet your Guide/Me.
I’ve spent most of my life exploring Scotland. Growing up on the outskirts of Glasgow, I always felt a stronger connection to the forests than to the city. As a kid, my family and I would often go for country walks, climb hills, and explore islands. Little did I know that, 30 years later, this would become part of my career!
I’ve always been the one behind the camera. I was creative at school and pursued a career in the arts, focusing initially on graphic design and then moving into marketing and advertising. Photography was simply a passion until social media platforms like Instagram emerged. That’s when I realised that others truly appreciated my work. Having thousands of people enjoy and engage with my photos every day turned out to be a real motivator! But its always been an outlet for myself to make things, sharing them is like signing your name to a painting.
Scotland is a place full of character, and I’ve found nowhere else on earth quite like it to capture with a camera. My role is to use my experience to create the trip of your dreams—from the drives, locations, and mountains to the lochs, bothies, castles, food, and fun. Everything Scotland has to offer, brought together for an unforgettable experience.
F.A.Q
Do I have a guarantee?
Yes, 50% of your deposit is refundable up to three weeks before your trip. After that, refund eligibility may vary depending on the specific tour. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please get in touch as soon as possible to discuss your options.
Do I need to be a photographer?
Not at all! In fact, most tours aren’t focused on photography. You’re welcome to capture memories as you like, but the experience is designed for everyone to enjoy, with or without a camera.
What kind of transport will we use?
You’ll be riding in the ultimate adventure vehicle—the new Land Rover Defender. With a spacious boot, generous seats, a sunroof for sunny days, and heated seats for the chillier ones, this matte green Defender has it all.
What should I bring?
Scottish weather can be unpredictable, so pack for changing conditions. Bring a spare set of clothes for each day and waterproof gear. Your personalised itinerary will include more specific packing recommendations tailored to your tour.
Where will we stay?
Your accommodation will be a private room in a top-rated hotel or B&B near our adventure sites. Locations vary depending on the tour, but rooms are comfortable and within budget, with upgrade options available upon request for those looking to add a more unique accommodation experience to their trip.
What will we eat?
Everyone has different eating habits, but breakfast is often included with overnight stays for those interested. My extensive list of favourite lunch stops are dotted around the mainland and dinners everywhere from small fresh seafood shacks, to local taverns and remote michelin starred cottages.
Which airport should I fly to?
Glasgow International Airport is the closest to our route, though im more than happy to collect those wishing to enjoy the streets of Edinburgh before we start. As always, each tour is different and I’ll do my best to make it as easy on you as possible.
How many people will be on the tour?
My tours are designed to be personal, typically with just one to three guests. This keeps the experience intimate and customisable, focusing on your interests and the adventure ahead.
Is this tour physically demanding?
Tours are flexible and can be adjusted to suit your activity level. If you’re up for a hike or prefer scenic viewpoints, we’ll make it work!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Let me know ahead of time, and I’ll make sure to accommodate any dietary needs or preferences along the way.
