Meet your Guide

I’ve spent the majority of my life exploring Scotland, growing up on the outskirts of Glasgow, i always felt more connected to the forests than the city. As a kid my family would do a lot of walks in the country, climb hills and explore islands, I didn’t quite realise that 30 years later it would be part of my job!

I’ve always been the one with the camera and taking photos, i wa creative in school and followed a career in art focused on graphic design before leading in to marketing and advertising. Photography was always just a passion, and it wasn’t until social sharing platforms like Instagram came along i realised my work was so widely enjoyed by others. Having a few thousand people look at and appreciate your images every day is apparently a real motivator!

Scotland is a place full of character, and i’ve found no greater place on earth to have a camera in your hand. My job here is to use my experience to create the trip of your dreams. The drives, the locations, mountains, lochs, bothies, castles, stags and everything in between.

F.A.Q

Do i have a guarantee?

50% of your deposit is refundable up to three weeks before your trip. After this date will vary greatly on the tour selected, please get in touch as soon as possible if this is the case.

Do i need to be a photographer?

Not at all! in fact most tours are just people looking to experience Scotland the way I do. The photos are just a bonus.

What should i bring?

You’re likely aware that the weather in Scotland can change rapidly through the day, so it’s always best to have a spare change of clothes for each day, as well as waterproofs. Your personal itinerary will have a more detailed look at what we’ll need for the trip.

Where will we stay?

You’ll have a private room in a highly rated hotel or B&B close to the location of our next days adventures. Due to each trip being different this does change all the time. Rooms are kept within budget and upgrades are available on request.

What will we eat?

Breakfast will be included on some overnight stays and stops can be made along the way for lunches. Time for dinners and hot meals will be available on multiple day trips. For emergencies I will likely provide a fresh pack of Scottish shortbread in the glove box, remember to have a look.

Which Airport should i fly to?

Glasgow International Airport would be my first choice and closest to our route, but Edinburgh or Prestwick are suitable too.
