I was a little upset about the mediocre sunset we got at the top of Stac Polly (spoiler: it all turned out well), but it was getting dark and we had to start making our way back down and on to the next campsite to meet up with the other group of camper friends.
After another 20min of downhill hiking and ever increasing darkness, the mountains caught fire, and a crazy brightness surrounded everything we could see. We all stopped to take it in and decided we have to see what this looks like from the sky.
I sent up the drone and faced him directly toward the epic Pollaidh (see second pic) before turning 180 degrees and seeing the top of the mountain to the east look like a volcano!
We made the rest of the trek down the mountain in the dark, got in the van and made our way to the campsite.
